Arts and Crafts Festival
Annual event in late November or early December; features local artists and crafts persons; good place for holiday shopping; open to the public

Dining Events
Holiday lunches, brunches, and dinners; lunches coordinated with Fashion Shows, Lunch and Learn, and Home Tours; dinners followed by Wednesday Travelogues; men's breakfasts, themed lunches and dinners, summer patio barbeques, and meals where you enjoy cuisine from a country and learn the language for restaurant dining in that country

Fashion Show Luncheons
Clothing and accessories from local stores and boutiques are modeled by club members

Flea Market
A popular spring event that is open to the public

Home Tour
Annual event; tours of selected homes and new or restored business or cultural venues; open to the public

 

Lunch and Learn
Varied topics presented by local experts; open to the public; scheduled from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 to accommodate business people

Open House
Held in September and January; members and prospective members talk with teachers and sign up for programs and classes. NOTE: There will be no Open House in January 2010. Contact the office to register for winter 2010 classes.

Programs and Classes
A wide range of opportunities to pursue special interests or learn new things; topics such as art history, using digital cameras, jazz, beginning and advanced bridge, cooking, financial planning, self-defense, aerobics, and a vintage and classic automobile show

Trips and Tours
One day trips to dramas, concerts, dance, museums, boat races, baseball games; two-three day trips to regional attractions, and longer trips within and beyond the United States; see slides of trips a tour of historic Detroit chuches and a day trip to the DIA, the Whitney restaurant, and Pewabc Pottery

Wednesday Travelogues
Presentations by traveling AACC members preceded by dinners with menus from the areas being shown
