Opportunities for local (day) trips continue to present themselves, unfortunately often without much advance notice to allow for advertising and making reservations. We have day trips in the planning phase to see the Meyer May House and Meijer Gardens decorated in their Christmas finery in Grand Rapids, trips to Detroit to see “A Chorus Line” plus dinner, time at MGM Casino, a tour of historic churches, and a possible return to the Detroit Institute of Arts, to mention just a few.
