Member Clubs

The Ann Arbor City Club is dedicated to hosting local non-profit organizations by providing a comfortable place for them to meet. We encourage local organizations to contact us if they are interested in having a regular place to meet! AAMM Investment Club 
Purpose: To invest the assets of the partnership in stocks, bonds, and securities for the education and benefit of the partners.

AAUW Classic Books
A sub-group of the American Association of University Women - Ann Arbor Branch.

AAUW Ann Arbor Branch
AAUW Ann Arbor Branch is affiliated with the American Association of University Women, a national organization that lobbies and advocates for education and equity. 

Ann Arbor Thrift Shop
The Ann Arbor Thrift Shop provides emergency social service aid generated through the sale of donated gently used clothing, housewares and other items.

ATHENA International - Washtenaw County
ATHENA International seeks to support, develop and honor women leaders. It inspires women to reach their full potential and strives to create balance in leadership worldwide. ATHENA PowerLink  is a business mentoring program designed to increase the growth and profitability of women-owned businesses.

DAR Sarah Caswell Angell Chapter
Purpose: The Daughters of the American Revolution is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American History, and supporting better education.

Garden Amateurs
Garden Amateurs II has been an active UMFWC group since the 1940s. Our goal is to provide beginning and experienced gardeners with interesting programs and a chance to make connections with fellow gardeners. 

Ann Arbor Branch, Woman's National Farm and Garden Association
Purpose: To encourage an interest in and a knowledge of horticulture and its allied pursuits among women on local, state, international and national levels; to preserve and beautify the environment by granting scholarships; to engender awareness and participation in community projects

Junior League of Ann Arbor
Purpose: The Junior League of Ann Arbor, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. ​

Lawyer Mediator Group
Purpose: To facilitate professional growth, communication and collaboration in the domestic relations professional community.










Les Dames d'Escoffier, Ann Arbor 
Les Dames d’Escoffier is the only organization of its kind: a world wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage, and hospitality. The Ann Arbor Chapter, LDE-AA, supports the broad mission of LDEI with a diverse group of professional talent and experience.  We are focused on developing scholarships and educational opportunities for women seeking professional expertise in the food, fine beverage, and hospitality fields, especially the emerging movements of the environment, health, and local resourcing in those professions in our multi-cultural community.. 

PEO Chapter G
Purpose: PEO-G is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to support educational opportunities for women. Five international projects are supported by our sisterhood each year. 

PEO Chapter W
Purpose: PEO-W is a philanthropic organization. Our mission is the promotion of educational opportunities for women. We support a women's college, Cottey College. We have chapters through the US and the world.

Society for Musical Arts
Purpose: To support and provide regional musical artists by sponsoring two area music competitions: (1) collegiate level (SMA competition) and (2) for young musicians ages 13- 18 (Rosalie Edwards Competition). SMA sponsors a Wednesday morning concert series featuring regional artists in six concerts a year at the City Club, followed by Meet the Artist Luncheons.

Washtenaw County Bar Association
The mission of the Washtenaw County Bar Association is to improve public understanding of the legal system, the substantive law and the role of lawyers, and to advance professional development and excellent through educational programs and services for its members. 

Washtenaw County Medical Society
Purpose: Promote a health care environment that supports physicians in caring for and enhancing the health of Washtenaw County citizens through science, quality and ethics in the practice of medicine.

Margaret Waterman Alumnae Group – Duplicate Bridge
The Margaret Waterman Alumnae Group was established in 1953 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for scholarships for need-based students at the University of Michigan.  It supports and promotes the advancement of the interests of the University of Michigan and closer fellowship among alumni/ae, students, and friends.
